Leigh Infirmary celebrates 100 years with a Centenary Garden Party

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust is continuing to celebrate Leigh Infirmary’s Centenary year by hosting a garden party in the grounds of Leigh Infirmary on Saturday 11th August starting at 1.00pm.

We are inviting the public of Wigan and Leigh to join us continuing to celebrate Leigh Infirmary’s 100th Birthday and there will be fun for all the family. There’s a funhouse, bouncy castle, ice cream van, face painting and children’s rides. We also have guest appearances from Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club, the Armed Forces, Greater Manchester Fire Service and the NW Ambulance Service. 

There will be performances by Golborne Junior Brass Band, Abram Morris Dance Troupe and Greater Manchester Police Dog handlers. 

Music throughout the celebrations has been kindly supplied by Hospital Radio Metro.

Entry to the Event is just £1 payable on the day or in advance with a free programme available via Claire Gettings, Communications Assistant via email or ext 2590. Communications Dept, Trust Headquarters, RAEI or via the Volunteers Desk, Leigh Infirmary.
