Celebrating 50 years of the Charnley Hip Replacement, join us at the Wrightington Hospital Open Day on Saturday, 24 November 2012
Professor Sir John Charnley is recognised as the founder of modern hip replacement, which is now one of the most common operations in the UK. He was a master surgeon, innovator and bio-engineer. His work has been an outstanding contribution to the relief of human suffering.
To commemorate 50 years of the Charnley hip replacement we are holding an open day at Wrightington Hospital, which is free of charge and open to all.
