The Toy Appeal, run by Wigan based Wish FM, has been set up in order to make sure that children do not go without presents this Christmas.

The radio station are urging people to buy just one extra present this year so that they can be donated to local children’s charities across Wigan and St Helens just in time for Christmas.

David Cornish, Assistant Manager of Security at WWL, said: “We have had a fantastic response from staff all across the Trust this year. This isn’t even all of the presents; we are doing another drop off next week with even more presents for the children.

The Wish FM Toy Appeal is on-going until Friday 19 December and we expect to have even more presents coming in before then.”

WWL will continue to donate gifts until the closing date of Friday 19 December, where all gifts will be handed over at by the Trust to Wish FM.
