Who Cares? Inspiring Better Care Conference

Who Cares? Inspiring Better Care Conference

16 October 2014

Who Cares? Inspiring Better Care Conference 2014Break free from the “traps of mediocrity” and seek out excellent care for patients. Join the country’s leading health care radicals for a day of inspiration.

Sir Bruce Keogh described the traps of mediocrity that hold us from achieving the best care. All trusts need to strive to achieve the highest standards, whether small or large. The challenges are set. We have responded and are keen to share our experiences with like minded organisations.

“Safe, Effective and Caring” is the core of our beliefs as an organisation. They are the bedrocks of our structures and the yardsticks against which we choose to measure. These measures demonstrate dramatic changes in the care provided over a period of seven years and evidence the scale of improvement which is possible.

Generating cultural change within an organisation to embrace quality improvement is a great challenge. It requires social change across an organisation. Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) has been successful in generating such change and we are delighted to be able to offer delegates the chance to tap into “Harm Free Wards”, “Quality Champions” and “The WWL Way”.

The conference will be held on 16 October 2014, 09.15-16.00, at Macdonald Kilhey Court, Chorley Road, Standish, Wigan, WN1 2XN. Conference fee £150 per delegate.
