Recruitment Day - Wrightington Hospital

We are holding a recruitment day for Band 5 Staff Nurses. There are 13 posts on offer which will all be based in the Elective In-Patient and Admissions Unit in our new Orthopaedic Unit, at Wrightington Hospital (opening December 2015). 

The event details are as follows: -

Date: Friday 22nd May 2015

Venue: Wrightington Conference Centre – Long Drawing Room, Ground Floor

Time: 10am – 6pm

The format will follow 2 hour sessions which will include: -

  • Presentation with Q&A "about our new hospital" - 30 minutes
  • Open market place/ informal interviews - 1hr 30minutes

These sessions will run at the times below: -

  • 10.00am – 12.00pm
  • 12.00pm – 2.00pm
  • 2.00pm – 4.00pm
  • 4.00pm – 6.00pm

Phase 1 Sample Room

Wrightington Hospital has been known for many years as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the treatment of Orthopaedic conditions. 

The new state-of-the-art Unit will specialise in caring for post-operative patients who have undergone lower limb joint replacement surgery. The Unit will comprise of 32 single bedded rooms and 5 four bedded bays. There will also be a four bedded Increased Dependency Area located within the new Unit.

As well as joining a fantastic Orthopaedic team, you’ll be joining an innovative and forward thinking organisation that puts patients at the heart of everything we do. The Trust is a multi-award winner including the Health Service Journal Provider Trust of the Year 2014.
