Taylor Neurological Rehabilitation Service

The Taylor service is part of the Greater Manchester Neurorehabilitation network. The service is the post-acute and community arms of network.

Location: 
Leigh Infirmary

Catchment area:
Wigan and Bolton residents

Services 
Intensive in-patient neurological rehabilitation in the unit. Community arm of the service provides ongoing therapy input.

Staff
Rehabilitation Consultants, Staff Grade doctor, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Support Workers, a Consultant Psychologist and Speech & Language Therapists.

Special interests:
Movement disorders especially dystonia, Botulinum Toxin injections, complex brain injury rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, neurodegeneative disorders.

Rehabilitation of Multiple Sclerosis and Brain Injury.
