Work Experience at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

Work Experience Placements are the best way to gain valuable insight and experience into the life of an NHS Professional. At Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, we strive to inspire young people towards a career in the NHS, and hopefully to work for us in the future.

Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to offer a Work Experience Programme, primarily aimed at students aged 14 – 19 however please note that there are restrictions for students under the age of 16.

Please note however that our Programme is very popular, and students of the Wigan Borough are given priority. Those from outside of Wigan are welcome to apply, and we will endeavour to secure a placement, once applications from within the borough are processed. Hence we would encourage you to make simultaneous applications to other organisations to avoid disappointment.

* Please note we are not accepting any new work experience placements until September 2017 *
