Ellie Rose Walker, 19, from Marus Bridge, Wigan, attended a Talent Lab celebration of apprenticeships event, hosted by her training provider, QA Apprenticeships, at the House of Commons.

She was joined by Julie Wilson, WWL’s Vocational Learning Facilitator.

“It was such an honour to attend this event with Ellie,” said Julie.

Ellie continued; “I felt very proud to be invited to the House of Commons and very grateful for the opportunity to go and celebrate apprenticeships.”

The inaugural event allowed apprentices and their providers to network with each other, and Ellie was invited to this event due to work on her apprenticeship with WWL.

Speeches were made throughout the day by the MP for Washington and Sunderland West, Mrs Sharon Hodgson, and The Lord Lucas, Ralph Matthew Palmer.
