Acute Services

These are provided at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wigan. Emergency services for children are delivered through our state of the art Childrens Emergency Care Centre.

Ongoing care for children who need admission is provided on Rainbow Ward. All children admitted to hospital will go to Rainbow Ward.

Babies delivered in our obstetric unit who require medical care are admitted to our purpose designed Neonatal Unit. Visiting Times for the Childrens Wards are very broad.
