Hip

Pain around the hip can be caused by a number of conditions. It can develop gradually over a period of time such as Osteoarthritis, it can occur suddenly in the form of an acute injury or as a result of under/over exercising and/or sudden changes to our lifestyles.

A more in-depth assessment is often required to understand the exact nature and cause of hip pain, so a self-referral to ourselves is advised, but often hip pain can settle down by following the exercise programs below, so we would encourage you to start with these while waiting for your assessment, and even long term conditions such as Osteoarthritis can be managed following the same exercises.
