Midwifery Recruitment Event - Thursday 18th May 2023

WWL midwives

Join our dynamic and supportive team in providing exceptional care to women and their families across Wigan.

Our midwifery services, rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, provide care to more than 3,000 women and their babies every year, either in hospital or out in the community.

We’re a busy and well-established service, with a strong track record for providing positive experiences for women.

We’re excited to be hosting our first Midwifery Recruitment Day of 2023, in the Education Centre at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary on Thursday 18th May.

On the day you will hear from key speakers across numerous specialities, including Safeguarding, Breastfeeding, the Education Team and Fetal Physiology and Management. You will also have the chance to explore departmental stands, including those from Staff Engagement and Recruitment, and chat to our recent cohort of newly qualified Midwives.

Interviews will be held on the day for our Band 5 Rotational Midwifery posts.

Interested applicants must complete a trac application prior to the event to be granted a same day interview. Please complete an application here before 28th April 2023.

We welcome interest from student midwives graduating in September 2023, as well as qualified midwives looking to take up a post in our friendly and welcoming trust.
