Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust would like to remind any patient attending cardio or respiratory diagnostic appointments at Leigh Infirmary that the clinic has been temporarily moved to the former vaccinations department sited at Leigh Infirmary while building works are being carried out.
Please allow adequate time before your appointment to access the site via the Infirmary’s Hanover Street entrance and park on the public car park near to the Hanover Building. You should then follow signs which will direct you externally to the temporary Cardiology department.
WWL apologises for any inconvenience that the temporary move may cause while construction continues on our brand-new Community Diagnostics Centre, due to open later this year. This provisional relocation allows us to keep services at our Leigh site, rather than relocate to the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary site during the build.
