Pregnancy Related Pain

At WWL we have a number of physiotherapists who specialise in pregnancy related pains, and also Women's Health.

Their expertise and experience can be accessed, like all of physiotherapy, by self-referring to one of our Physiotherapy Departments.

This can be done by contacting/visiting one of the departments listed in the Contact Us section, or by filling in our online Self-Referral Form by clicking the link in the Contact Us section.

Your referral can then be triaged and sent to the most suitable member of staff.

Conditions that they can help with include:

  • Pelvic Girdle Pain
  • Diastasis Rectus Abdominus
  • Incontinence
  • Pelvic Floor Exercises
  • Relaxation
  • Advice regarding exercise during and after pregnancy

There are some excellent readymade information leaflets about the above conditions listed below that you can access free of charge, just by clicking the links. They are all from the Pelvic Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) website which is in itself a great source of information and help.
