
Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Tracy Narot as its new Chief People Officer (CPO).
Tracy joins WWL on the 1st May from Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where she held the role as Executive Director of People, and brings extensive experience in people, culture and organisational development. Tracy has previously been part of WWL as Interim CPO in 2023 and her career spans the NHS, local government and higher education. She is widely recognised for her compassionate leadership and commitment to improving the working lives of staff while enhancing patient experience.
Tracy is known for championing kindness, fairness and clear leadership. She has led large teams through significant change, always with a focus on safety, quality and equality for both colleagues and the communities they serve.
WWL Chief Executive Officer, Mary Fleming, welcomed the appointment, saying: “Tracy knows our organisation well and brings extensive experience that makes her an excellent addition to our leadership team. She is passionate about supporting and developing staff, helping to make WWL a great place to work, and ensuring patients remain at the heart of everything we do. Tracy will also lead our commitment to strengthen equity, diversity and inclusion for both staff and the communities we serve.”

I hope that I will bring the energy, insight and genuine passion to support the brilliant people who deliver outstanding care every day to the patient population in our communities and beyond.
