Daniel is on the specialist register for General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology. He was trained in North West Deanery as Specialist Registrar. He was appointed to the post of Consultant at WWL in January 2012.
His specialty interest covers all areas of Diabetes and Endocrinology. Daniel is also involved in the Specialist Lipid Clinic. He covers Standish ward for In-Patients and is involved in diabetes and endocrine reviews for in-patients referrals.
Daniel enjoys teaching and is a keen teacher. He does regular teaching for medical students and CMT trainees. He organises X-ray meeting for Junior Doctors once a month. He is actively involved in undertaking audits and development of clinical guidelines for the management of Diabetes and Endocrine problems.
Daniel is the Governance lead for the Diabetes and Endocrine Department and he organises the weekend and overnight on call rota for medical consultants.
