Ince Ward
OVERVIEW:
Ince Ward is a very busy 27 bedded Male/Female ward, caring primarily for Acute respiratory and Cardiac patients. This can include respiratory patients requiring non-invasive ventilation, during the acute period of the admission. These patients have acute and chronic illnesses which include Asthma, COPD, and pulmonary fibrosis. The cardiac patients admitted could be post heart attack either waiting angiograms or further surgery, it also includes unstable heart failure patients who need aggressive fluid management
