Neurology
OVERVIEW:
Neurology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system. To be specific, neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.

We have three Neurology Consultants at the Trust who specialise in the fields of Motor Neurone Disease, Dementias and General Neurology and Movement Disorders:

Hilary TyneClinics are held at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, the Thomas Linacre Outpatient Centre in Wigan and also at Leigh Infirmary.
